The Blue Crab Bungalow was purchased in 2018 and opened that same year as a weekend get-a-way for visitors to Colonial Beach.

The 1940's structure sits on "the point" at the beach.....a long peninsula bordered by the Potomac River and Monroe Bay.

It is a one bedroom (queen sized bed) cottage with one bath.

There is also a futon couch and futon chair in the living room...so the cottage can sleep up to 5 comfortably.

In addition there is a fine screened in porch for sitting and relaxing.

The home is heated and air-conditioned and has cable television.

The modern kitchen has all you need!

You will find yourself within walking distance to the town's commercial area where you will find restaurants, bars, music venues, our library and museum; as well as the local brewery!  Other entertainment venues are a short bike ride away.

Historic attractions at the birthplace of James Monroe, George Washington and the Lee Family are a short drive away.
